This is a note from an ex-PTW up in sodding, sodden Carlisle. I did the Cumberland Challenge at the weekend which is 105 miles of sheer hell and not helped by the rain coming down in stair rods and the howling gales. Just to let Jeff Bruce know that his cycling kit held up to the occasion very well and he can be proud that I was sporting the 'Ride The Dream' logo on my bum !!! I was wondering why I was getting so many grinning pervs and their tel. numbers!!! Not one of them I would call GOOD LOOKING!!!!
