Windy Conditions in Welsh Champs 12
Colin Wallace was the quickest after 100 miles in Sunday's Welsh Championship 12 in Monmouthshire which he completed in 4 hours and 17 minutes. However, he faded badly in the second half of the 12 hitting the infamous wall finishing in 14th place with a total mileage of 238.96 miles. I believe he will still be the Welsh Best All rounder for 2006 and well done for sticking at the job on Sunday despite suffering over the last few miles.
Martin Edwards recovered from a rough patch by having an Ambrosia rice pudding or maybe two or more. It obviously did the trick for him as he was trailing behind Jeff Tobin until the rice did the trick to beat Jeff by 0.13 miles with a total mileage of 216.49 miles. Jeff finishing with 216.36 miles. Jeff and Martin were riding their first '12' and the Chairman of the Club Mr Chris Jones feels that ' this could be the first of many for them both '
