Simon has won a second gold AND set another world record in the 3,000 metres event, taking 8 seconds off the previous standard.
Simon Richardson opens Britain's Paralympic gold run with a glorious victory in the men's LC3/4 one-kilometre time-trial. 2nd Claim Club member has had a marvellous start in the Paralympics for Britain and in particular for the sport of cycling. He also broke the World Record.
