The weather was showery, but by and large we seemed to spend more time riding on wet roads (and dodging wheel spray) than actually getting rained on. I think we got 10/10 for shower-dodging on the way home. For my part, I got a lot of practice in riding with my mouth shut. No wonder Wacka spent the whole day on the front.
Congratulations go to James Lewis who managed to perservere with a self-destructing bottom-bracket bearing, and actually came through the other side. There were probably twice the number of ball bearings in there that there should have been, but at least it stopped making that awful racket.
